Paul Koelbloed
Tenor
Paul Koelbloed is a Dutch tenor who studied at Trinity College of Music in London.
Following his graduation Paul worked as a soloist and in small ensembles with a
variety of English and American opera companies including Surrey Opera, City Opera,
AAC Opera and Pacific Opera, with whom he performed in Carnegie Hall, New York.
From 2006 - 2007 Paul worked with Diva Opera and performed at various international
festivals and exclusive locations in England, France and Switzerland, together with
world famous opera singers including José Carreras. In 2008, Paul returned to his
native Amsterdam where he is employed in the chorus of the Dutch National Opera
(DNO). With DNO, Paul performed in La Traviata, Carmen, La Juive, Der fliegende
Holländer, Les Troyens and Turandot. In The Netherlands Paul also regularly performs
with other companies including Opera per Tutti and occasional performances organised
by Cor de Wit.
In the near future Paul can be seen and heard with DNO in performances of Don Carlo,
Parsifal and De legende van de onzichtbare stad Kitesj en het meisje Fevronja.
